The AKT Course is a crash preparation for the AKT in 1 day. It covers all the theoretical aspects of General Practice that the exam aims to cover including both clinical and ethical problems. The course covers all aspects of the exam starting from what you need to expect to all the relevant clinical guidelines and data that you need to secure a pass in the AKT.

This course can be taken right at the beginning of your preparation to give you a jump start or even at the end of you preparation to assess yourself. Either way it provides you with extensive material to prepare for the exam early !

GP ST Course Stages 1-4

This 1 day course covers all the aspects of stages 1 to 4 of the selection process into GP training 2010. It covers the essential aspects application process, Stage 2 assessment in detail with comprehensive material for candidates to work on including Clinical Problem Solving and Professional Dilemma Paper. It gives you a detailed insight into Stage 3 Assessments (Group Tasks, Simulated patient encounters, clinical and ethical prioritisation tasks).

The course covers the complete process from application to offer of position.

GP ST Stage 3 Course

Small groups...all get practice and supervision under our expert GP Trainers.

This intense task based course and workshop offers thorough focus on your final assessment into GP training. This course gives you a comprehensive insight into what to expect in the Stage 3 Assessments along with extensive group based tasks that covers all the components of Stage 3 Assessment.

The assessment has three components, as follows:

The course covers marking techniques and scoring strategies in order to ensure the maximum chance of success in this very competitive and important part of the assessment process. Candidates get hands-on experience in performing the tasks in respective groups. Spaces are limited, so book early!
